House Concert with Frank Lindamood!!!

We had a great couple of shows this past weekend. Thanks to the fans for continuing to come and watch us do our thing!

Jessica M. Gaboury PhotographyFrank Lindamood

If you are into intimate, acoustic performances you may want to check out this house concert on Sunday April 22nd. We will be joining Frank Lindamood from 3-5:30pm (potluck with the bands after) down at Alligator Point, FL.

The house we will be at was built in the 1930’s as a military barrack for Camp Gordon Johnson. When the military was done with it, a civilian bought it and had it towed on a barge over Alligator Harbor. Poor guy lost it in a poker game. The house was later renovated by the late renowned William Solburg and was subsequently owned by the writer Connie May Fowler. If you have never experienced a house concert this would be very nice indeed! Hope to see some of you folks down there.

The Great Southern Music Festival

Right outside of Thomasville, GA. a festival takes place that many are calling a diamond in the rough. The Great Southern Music Festival is a place to take the family for a not so far away festival! They have the regions best bluegrass and probaby the regions best bar-b-q as well!!! The atmosphere is very open with the stage underneath a well lit barn where you can bring your chair to sit back, relax and listen to sounds that are tried and true through the ages… Though the music on stage is nothing less than professional,  the camp fire jams at night is where the music can really get to jumpin’! They have plenty of RV hookups and always have space for primitive camping! The weekend passes which includes camping is $25 (small fee for RV hookups: see Reservations); Thursday Pass is $5; Friday Pass is $10; Saturday Pass is $15…

A great weekend to be had by all who ventures out to Ochlocknee, GA! Hope to see you out!
